  1. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named Australia’s spin bowling all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner and England’s seamer Chris Woakes have been honored as the ICC Women's and Men's of the Month for July 2023 respectively.
  2. Athletics Federation of India (AFI) Chief, Adille Sumariwalla has been elected as one of the four Vice Presidents of World Athletics, the highest post ever held by an Indian in the global track and field governing body.
